From the "Who knew this would happen" files: 7 Biggest Liberal Fails Of 2014 | The Daily Caller
7. The child migrant crisis at the border. The Obama administration floated an amnesty for young illegal immigrants, preventing the removal of people who would have benefited from the DREAM Act

6. The Democrats’ abortion obsession backfired. The tide finally turned in the “war on women.” Democrat Wendy Davis ran for governor of Texas ... Udall found himself mocked as “Mark Uterus.”

5. France was forced to abandon its “super-tax” on the rich. It’s no secret American liberals look to Canada and Europe to see what policies to impose next here. So it’s worth noting that the French will bid au revoir to Socialist President Francois Hollande’s 75 percent tax on earnings over 1 million euros, or approximately $1.2 million.

4. Vermont had to shelve its single-payer health care system.

In the immortal words of P.J. O’Rourke, “If you think health care is expensive now, wait until you see what it costs when it’s free!”

3. The spending cuts that didn’t cause a recession. Barack Obama boasts that the economy is now the best it’s been since he took office. But if you listened to many of his economic advisers and supporters, that shouldn’t have been the case, thanks to the sequestration spending cuts.

2. All things Gruber. Forget HealthCare.gov. Health care policy wonk Jonathan Gruber went from being the architect of Obamacare to its one-man wrecking crew.

1. Republicans won in November. Not only did Republicans recapture the Senate, after failing to do so in 2010 and 2012. Republicans will hold the governorship in Democratic states like Massachusetts, Maryland and Illinois. Troubled incumbent GOP governors won reelection in Kansas, Maine, Florida and Wisconsin. Republicans held Ohio in a landslide. Republicans will control 69 of 99 state legislative chambers, a record high.

7. Far better to rush to the border to point guns at kids.

6. I can't stop laughing long enough to actually respond to this one.

5. Let's try trickle down some more. It's been incredibly successful so far.

4. Because Healthcare is BAD. We have Jesus, we don't need Healthcare.

3. ???

2. You do grasp that A.C.A. has been successful, right?

1. They did. Unfortunately for sanity, The regressives are far more motivated to vote.

How about we enforce US immigration law.

6. I can't stop laughing long enough to actually respond to this one.

Abortion Barbie may have created a web-page paying lip-service to other issues, but she was and always has been a one-trick pony. Abortion is the only issue she truly cared about promoting. Her followers knew it, her detractors knew it, and she went down in an embarrassing land-slide defeat.

5. Let's try trickle down some more. It's been incredibly successful so far.

Destroying any incentive for businesses to conduct business and severely inhibiting the opportunity to make a profit is the policy of the insane.

4. Because Healthcare is BAD. We have Jesus, we don't need Healthcare.

Single-payer won't work, is the point.

Agreed, not sure what point was trying to be made there either.

2. You do grasp that A.C.A. has been successful, right?

Most of us grasp that is what we are expected to believe.

1. They did. Unfortunately for sanity, The regressives are far more motivated to vote.

There is no regressive party.

I have no issue with that. The issue is what of the "illegals" born in America? deportation?

. Any one trick pony, no matter what trick it is, SHOULD.

you mean through fair taxation? That's incentive destroying? Maybe so, but only because they've been handed everything on a silver platter.

Single-payer won't work, is the point.
It works in many nations. It's ear-plugging ignorance that propagates the "it can't work here" mantra.

Most of us grasp that is what we are expected to believe.
^_^

evidence dictates to the contrary.

7. "Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!" Or let's detain kids and ship them back to third world hellholes we helped create with an abusive drug war.

6. I wouldn't say democrats are the ones obsessed with abortion :p.

5. This one is valid. Any large swing in taxation tends to create problems.

4. I don't think you understand why this was shelved. It many has to do with federal funding and people not understanding how things are paid for.

3. Perhaps you missed where the democrats proposed cuts and then conceded to even more cuts, and reports that showed that it dented the economy a bit.

2. Well, it was a success as was he. It is simply a failure on the part of the American people.

1. Expected, almost no lame duck president holds onto congress during this cycle, and voter turn out was exceedingly low.

Wow, if these are biggest liberal failures, then they must have been pretty successful.
