This heat is ridiculous! And dangerous!

We are under heat advisory. We are having tropic like conditions. The humidity is really high along with the temperature. I went out to feed my plants and could barely stand it. Please do not forget to check on your elderly and sick neighbors as well as the animals that may need help.

We are at 100 with humilty up to 90%. Standing in the sun feels like you are too close to a campfire. Heat index 115 last I
heard.

It's 104 here today with 18% humidity for a heat index of 104.

I'm still piddling around outside in the garden.

70 sounds great but my veggie garden would be very unhappy. The news said the weather we are having is very similar to tropical conditions. Makes you want to take about 10 showers a day.

We`ve actually used the fireplace more this summer than we`ve used the barbecue

The humidity is the biggest problem.

curent temp is 88 f. (feels like 98f.) with the humidity at 66%
dew point is 75f, so it's a bit soupy out there.
i went out and watered my azaleas that i planted this year.
they are not liking the heat. they each got 2 gallons of water,
and they gulped it up like there was no tomorrow.

my hostas are turning chartruse--not a good sign.

we're also under a heat advisery until 8 pm tomorrow night.

expected highs for Sunday and Monday are both 98 degrees f.
we hope to catch a break by Wednesday.

It sure makes the day a little better when a pretty girl brings your part along with a cold drink to the job site.
