When we were kids growing up..my two older sisters and twin brother..we were all taught not to be glued in front of any computer/TV/Video Games..Always took on something extra curricular..I played softball and basketball..Although not good enough and too small for basketball in college I did play softball in college though..I played RF..then later on in life after college I developed Crohn's Disease..I was overweight then though..at 5'7" 165lbs..i'm now 120lbs right where I should be at the doctor says. I've always been lean until I stopped working out..now that i'm slowly recovering and the crohn's goes into remission, I'll start to work out again.

Oh wow, Crohn's disease. I had a friend in art school who had that. I'm glad you've gotten it under control now!

yes..at the local meat market..it is flown in everyday from Japan. $100to $125 bucks a pound.

LOL, Zec, I love your sig line. In fact, I'm currently having that very conversation with a friend's brother. He's an old school Pentecostal and is deeply indoctrinated with their ways. However he also is currently very disillusioned with the whole system. The biggest issue between us is the Law/Gospel mix in the Lutheran faith. Pentecostals don't view Law as a Lutheran does.

Thanks, Stude! I wish I could take credit for that sig line, but I can't. It's a condensed version of a rant from Pastor Cwirla. I hear ya on the Pentecostals. I attended a few Pentecostal services as a child and from what I remember the services totally revolved around the Holy Spirit and how He could be manipulated into doing signs so the members of the church would believe.

For some odd reason, I felt compelled to make meatloaf for dinner tonight. I blame Stude!

Inspire me for tomorrow, guys. With all the rain we've been having, our plans to grill more often than not this summer hasn't worked out so far. There are a lot of things I can get on with in the rain, but grilling isn't one of them.

I like reading about my friends' lives on FB. I can choose to respond to them or choose not to and even on my own time. It's really convenient.

Plus, with my high school friends...I thought I would communicate more with my really close friends from high school, but the funny thing is I'm finding I have a LOT more in common with some of the people I never really hung around.

Well Im a hard person to get along with. I've been told I have a firey attitude and don't take no crap from anyone. my old softball coach would call me "fireball" I would get ejected a lot.. Some think it's because i'm "Japanese" and I tell them ..hardly..lol most Japanese girls I've known were rather timid..I just stand my ground..especially when I know i'm right.
