Hi so what dose man in the image of God look like the best example we have is Israel this is man in the image of God in the flesh.

Hos 11:1 When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt

So if Israel is Gods son then he would be the image of his Father so what dose man in the image of God look like.
We have Moses the Father we have Aaron the high priest and the 12 tribes this is a mirror image of the true man in the image of God Jesus Christ
We have God the Father Jesus Christ the high priest the 12 apostles through whom all the children of God are being created.
Jesus was also called out of Egypt so he follows the same path as Israel except for he spent 40 days in the wilderness and Israel spent 40 years consider these words of St Paul.

Yes a new creation in Christ the old creation Israel has been abandoned for now the new creation is Christ and will be completed at his second comming when he will gather to himself all believers the great multitude that will stand before God.

Hi so we have a first Adam and a last Adam were they both created in the same way we know what the last Adam will look like when he returns and gathers together all those who are his a whole multitude who will stand before the throne of God.
So was the first Adam created in the same way a whole host of people which was contaminated by the angels thats why God had to destroy the first Adam and start again with Noah and what was on the ark and the first man he created in his image was Israel which did not turn out to good so God began a new creation of Man in his image with his son Jesus Christ this will be a spiritual man which will be christ the head his bride the church all those chosen from the foundation of the world and the body of Christ all the children of God created by Christ and his bride so man in the image of God is not one man but a whole multitude yes God created mankind but man in his image is not one man the best illustration of man ( mankind) in the image of God is Israel this is man in the image of God in the flesh.

God has his heavenly host at His side when He says "Let Us Make" man in "Our" image.

Then God alone does the creating with His audience.

So we are in the image of God, it's just that the heavenly host was present along side God.

Like me saying "hey guys let's get some pizza!" And then I go and get the pizza from the shop and bring it back. I do the action solo, but I have an audience that is present and can appreciate what I'm doing. And maybe one of my friends was in the passenger seat and got to see me actually purchase and get the pizza.

But the point is that, God is in the drivers seat and He has an audience that he refers to in a plural sense.

The 1,000 years of rest is the Kingdom age when we will rule and reign with Christ for 1,000 years. The whole reason for the flood was to preserve all the plants and animals of Eden. This was the beginning of civilization today. People need food to survive and so God has to preserve the plants and animals for man to eat.

If it were not for Noah and the Ark when God would have had to start all over again from the beginning. He does not do that. He declares the end from the beginning and He watches over HIs word to accomplish what He said He was going to do. Even He writes the book of our life at or before conception. We are given all of our gifts, talents and abilities to be used to bring praise, honor and glory to God. Of course Satan does not want to honor God. He wants to honor himself and that is where all the problems begin. Difficult for a Christian to understand because for us there is NOTHING better then to praise, honor, worship and glorify God. Because God causes all things to work together for good. (for those who love God and are called according to His purpose)

Hi Diomond7 thank you for your reply as for Christs millennial reign I believe its main purpose will be to educate the children of God.
The reason for the flood was to remove everything God had created especially Adam who had be come throughly evel and e,specially because of the cross breading between the angels and the women producing giants not part of God plan.
The end from the beginning the end is man in the image of God which is Jesus Christ when he stands before the throne of God with the multitude of believers The word man should be understood as mankind thats why Christ's body consists of a multitude of believers this is man in the image of God.

I think the child Jesus is talking about is a fifth grader. For some people this would be a step up for them to function at a fifth grade level. They use to have a program on TV are you as smart as a fifth grader and a lot of people are not that smart. In this case the question was how many coins would you need for 99 cents. He said 9 and she said 8. Proving that he was NOT as smart as a fifth grader.

When we enter heaven we are jest children we must grow and mature this will happen in the millennium I think in Mat 19 Christ is speaking to his decipels who later will become his apostles who will become adults who he will send into the world to bear fruit.

So what is the end from the beginning the end is the end of creation which is man in the image of God and that man is Jesus Christ

Heb 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

when he presents him self with the multitude of believers before the throne of God ,if this is the end what was the beginning it has to be Noah and what was on the ark everything else was destroyed in the flood the only thing missing was man in the image of God if Noah was in the image of God God would have no need to create another so God began a new creation from the dust of the earth.

Gen 13:16 And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered

So the seed of Abraham is the dust of the earth from which God will create in his image

Hos 11:1 When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt.

So Israel is Gods son and as such would be the image of his Father so we know what Israel looks like so we know what God looks like but Israel went terribly wrong so God began anew creation with his son Jesus Christ

[17] Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.

If you study Hebrew, the letters that make up the word beginning point to Jesus. We are told: "Before the world was created, God had Christ choose us to live with him and to be his holy and innocent and loving people. " Ephesians 1:4 From the foundation of the world God's plan was for Jesus to sacrifice Himself for us. Jesus said He is the Gate. Only though Jesus can we have access to God to enter in. They talk about the Golden Gate that is closed and will not be opened again until Jesus returns.
