Dr. Owuor has accurately prophesied about various natural disasters.

Malawi Earthquake: YouTube - Prophecy Of Malawi Earthquake-Dr.Owuor-Part 1.mpg

Hurricane Katrina: YouTube - Hurricane Katrina Prophecy-Prophet Dr.Owuor

Dominican/Haitian Earthquake: YouTube - Haiti Earthquake Prophecy-Dr Owour

Chilean Earthquake: YouTube - Chile Earthquake Prophecy 8.8 magnitude-Dr. Owuor.mp4

I find this interesting not just because of the prophecies, but rather the increasing frequency and intensity of these natural disasters. See for yourselves:

    Increase in earthquakes «
    Historic World Earthquakes

I believe that we are fast approaching the time Jesus mentioned in Matthew 24.
7Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8All these are the beginning of birth pains.

In the Revelation, a great earthquake is a world war.

Thanks for posting this as I hadn't heard of Dr Owuor before. There are very few teachers in the church that are willing to put themselves out there and speak the word without sugar coating it.

    Just some observations…

    Malawi Earthquake:
I will give him credit for specifically focusing on the Lake Malawi region. Africa is a big place, and he pinpointed Malawi in particular. Now on one hand, the last big earthquake to hit that region was in 1989, so it’s not like earthquakes strike there everyday; on the other hand, according to one article, Malawi is within the most seismically active belt of the East African Rift System, so if a big earthquake were to strike somewhere in Africa, it would be Malawi. So I’m kinda on the fence about this one; Owuor predicted two earthuakes (one in Malawi and one in Texas), and that these earthquakes would take place because of what was written in Matthew 24 and Luke 21. I don’t recall any kind of massive earthquake in Texas over the past few years.

    Hurricane Katrina:
I don’t quite get the fulfillment in this video because he doesn’t prophecy a hurricane for New Orleans or any other region in the Gulf of Mexico; he specifically claimed that the storm would hit the Atlantic. If he had been vague concerning the region in North America that the storm would hit, then I might have viewed this as a pretty close fulfillment. But that prophecy was not about New Orleans.

    Dominican Republic:
This is probably one of his best prophecies. Although it hit Haiti, not DR, it was a pretty historic earthquake in that region, and nobody was expecting it.

    Chile:
This is another one that turned out to be the case.

Now, I would be interested in finding out how many countries Owuor visits and how many regions he predicts coming judgment. If he has only proclaimed earthquakes and judgment in select regions like Chile, DR, or Malawi, then that would be an indicator that he is receiving specific revelation. However, if this guy travels all over the world and regularly proclaims earthquakes, floods, and judgment wherever he preaches, then his prophecies become far less impressive.

I noticed in one video that a service program listed coming earthquakes in Pakistan, Germany, Uruguay, as well as floods in India. Guess we’ll have to keep an eye on those places. And I do like the fact that he's not going around preaching prosperity gospel, and that he's focused on repentence and judgment. That sounds like stuff a prophet would preach.

    I agree. Amen to that.

"...but this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel: 'And in the last days it shall be, G-d declares, that I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams; yea, and on my menservants and my maidservants in those days I will pour out my Spirit; and they shall prophesy. And I will show wonders in the heaven above and signs on the earth beneath, blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke; the sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon into blood, before the day of the LORD comes, the great and manifest day. And it shall be that whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.'" Acts 2:16-21 and Joel 2:28-31

Nice post dude. I liked your objective approach in analyzing the prophecies. Yeah, I recently found out about Dr Owuor and was very impressed by his ministry myself.

Now, one thing that kind of disturbed me though, or should I say, gives me a pause/doubt of some sort. Not of whether he's a false prophet. He has all the symptoms of a 'real' prophet of the Lord. But doubts if all that he says is of God.

Prophets are human and can err, just like any other ministry gift. But the prophets that we should 'fear' according to Moses are those who are at the level that they know when God is speaking and the wisdom to understand what God means.

Many prophets today are immature and presumptous. Thus why they aren't to be feared. When Moses explained which prophets, 'real' prophets are to be feared and which ones speak presumptously, that's what he said would be the sign....if what they say comes to pass.

Many misinterpret that and call them 'false' prophets, but that's not what a false prophet is. False prophets are those who are 'not' prophets at all. They decieve. But a 'real' prophet can speak presumptously. So back to my point...

It seems that his prophecies are coming to pass, signaling that Dr Owuor is a 'real' prophet. But what disturbed me was his making mention of the 'pre'Tribulation rapture.

I understand that many preachers believe in this doctrine, however, it is not what the Scriptures reveal. And I understand that many 'real' men of God believe in it, but to say "God showed me the rapture and what happens 'after' it..." That gave me a Ehh???

I mean, Dr Owuor says in one of his messages that "If the prophecy is not found/confirmed in the Bible, its not of God..." Right?

Well, the Bible tells us that the Church is gathered together unto Him at the 2nd coming of the Lord. Yahsuah clearly explains the tribulation to His disciples as part of the signs that the 2nd coming is near. In Luke 21, He goes as far as to say "...when they see these 'things' (the signs of the tribulation', to hold your heads high for your redemption is NIGH..." Not already taken place, but nigh.

It clearly shows that "...AFTER the tribulation of those days, the Son of God will appear and send his angels to 'gather his elect' from all the corners of the earth..."

That's the event that the Lord told His disciples to be ready for.

In 1 Thes 5 Paul tells the church that "...only those in darkness will that day take like a thief....to those in the light that day will NOT take you like a thief..."

In 2 Thes Paul adds that "let no man deceive you saying that that day has already come...for it can not come UNTIL the great apostasy and the man of evil being revealed..."

1 Thes 4:16 Paul tells us that "we, who are alive will NOT PRECEDE THOSE WHO HAVE DIED IN CHRIST..."

That AFTER the dead in Christ rise, THEN we who are alive are raptured/gathered together with them to meet the Lord in the air.

In 1 Cor 15:52, Paul reiterates the same event and adds that it will happen at the "last" trumpet. That at the "last" trumpet that MYSTERY OF GOD will be revealed.

Well, in Rev 10 John tells us that that "last" trumpet is the 7th trumpet of Revelation and that at 'that' 7th trumpet the MYSTERY OF GOD WILL BE REVEALED.

Being that Paul revealed that the dead in Christ will rise FIRST, before those Christians who are still alive get raptured. And that we will NOT PRECEDE them who have died in Christ...then the rapture can NOT take place until the first resurrection has taken place. Until the dead in Christ are raptured FIRST.

Well, John tells us when the FIRST RESURRECTION takes place. In Rev 20:4 John revealed that the "dead in Christ rise AFTER the great tribulation, and that many have been beheaded for NOT TAKING THE MARK OF THE BEAST..."

John said that they "rose from the dead and reigned with Christ 1,000 years...THIS IS THE FIRST RESURRECTION..."

So, if we can not precede those who are dead in Christ, then the rapture doesn't take place until 'after' the great tribulation and after the man of evil is revealed (like Paul told us).

And 'after' the persecution of the CHurch (like Yahshuah told us).

Yahsuah warned the disciples to be READY for the 2nd coming of the Lord. "that" was the day they were to 'not' let catch them like a thief. Paul says that to those who are "in the light" it will NOT take them like a thief. So the rapture will not be like a thief in the night to those in the "light". That's the ready Christians.

Well, what has me confused is...why is it that a prophet of God, as Dr Owuor seems to be, doesn't know this. And what happened when he preached that the Lord showed him the 'rapture' of the church and what happens after it?

Did he misinterpret the vision? Or was that a presumptous word?

All of these events were foretold in the Torah, encode in ELS form. Pastor Harry Walther has found hundred of these encoded prophecies, including several that the Lord's modern day prophets have brought to this forum.

I have posted links to Pastor Harry's website here a few times, and Ill do it again of anyone here is interested in what the Lord wrote through brother Moses a few thousand years ago.

Now, I do not subscribe to all he has to say about his opinions irt raptures, aliens etc. But I do not rebuke these claim either.

When he speaks of aliens, he refers to blue beam, which MAY project ufos in an attempt to deceive the atheists and agnostics. At least that's my opinion of his claims.

I will tell you something else tht is not in scripture, it is not in scripture that the day of judgement is come yet, anybody who teaches that God has begun judgement of sin is a false prophet. We are still in the grace dispensation when God has suspended judgement until an appointed time when He will send His Son from heaven to judge the living and the dead.

Jesus specifically taught that people who suffer natural disasters are not suffering because they are worse sinners than anybody else.

The true prophet of God preaches repentance and FAITH in the good news of the kingdom of heaven [most of those preachers would be dismissed on this thread, but then true prophets usually are]

What do you suppose Jesus had been preaching in Nazareth when He said "there were many lepers in Elisha's day but none of them were cleansed save Naaman the Syrian" He would [I reckon] have been proclaiming healing.

And the people started to murmer and grumble and He said "a prophet is not acceptable in his own home"

He had probably been speaking about provision too for He said "there were many widows in Elijah's day but God did not send Elijah only to a Sidonoian"

That's the kind of preaching that make the holy Joes mad, they tried to throw Him over a hill.

No doubt He should have thundered God's wrath at them.

I don't know that because he believes the rapture is pretrib marks him as a false prophet. We know them by all their fruit not just one piece of fruit someone decides is bruised.

Indeed the Lord has within His hands, this world, and the vast expanses of the heavens. And each catastrophe happens as He allows.

It is a fact that mankind will reap judgment upon himself on "THE" day of judgment, and that the Lord will in His own way, destroy all evil.

These catastrophes may be His judgment, but they are not "THE" judgment.

As for this minister who has predicted these things. To call him a false prophet for something he mistakenly professes is to cast judgment upon him, which is no mans charge.

The Spirit moves this very day. He gives sight/vision to all who will humble themselves and accept this free gift. Similar to Salvation that no man boast of receiving this free gift, and in the same, no man may profit from what he has received freely by his faith.

We know our Good Father must at times discipline His children. If He were to allow for us, (who are His children), to run around committing deviant and unvirtuous acts, we would fall so far from Him and we may lose sight of righteousness, and believe the lie that is the mystery of lawlessness. (once saved always saved).

We are in a state of grace, through repentance, and whether these catastrophes are or are not His punishment for our lack of discipline is to be revealed. But the are not "THE" wrath, or "THE" judgment.

when satan is come amongst us through the a/c, he would have us to believe the tribulation is over, the a/c is killed, and the ones left after the mortal wound of Rev chpt 8, and Dan chpt 2, are those delivered into the millenial kingdom, whereas this series of catastrophes will be merely the beginning of the tribulation, followed by restoration and a technological eden of equality, unity, and growth.

I guess one would have to have seen it to believe it.

Can't agree with your viewpoint there. The book of Acts (the grace dispensation) shows many JUDGMENTS from God. God killed Ananias and Saphira dead on the spot for "lying to the Holy Spirit" in the 'grace dispensation'...

The angel of the Lord stuck a king down in front of all to see when he uttered unacceptable words in the book of Acts too. Grace dispensation.

In fact, AD 70 destruction of Jerusalem was JUDGMENT of God on His People...'grace dispensation'...

Paul tells the Corinthian Church in 1 Cor 11 that they were being JUDGED by GOD for taking the Passover 'UNWORTHILY'....grace dispensation...

Nah, guy...your view is the one UNbiblical. Judgment is DEFINITELY part of the so-called grace dispensation...in fact Jesus Himself says to the Pharisees and His disciples that the Son of Man came to NOT bring peace, but a sword to divide...and to bring JUDGMENT...

And just in case you are not that biblically literate....The TRIBULATION is IN and a PART of the GRACE DISPENSATION. Just thought I'd enlighten you on that...:amen:

Nice take. But "THE JUDGMENT" is not yet come. But the Lord does indeed physically punish the wicked when He so chooses. i am proof of that, as when I start be proud, i am tied to the proverbial whipping post.

Every good father must discipline his children. The ALmighty being no different.
Praise and exalt Him above all forever!

Careful... Jesus said that judgment had come upon this world when He was here.

    John 12:30,31,32

"This voice has not come for My sake, but for your sakes. Now judgment is upon this world; now the ruler of this world will be cast out. And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to Myself."

We were found guilty and our judgment of guilt fell upon Jesus.

Don't forget the basics in your quest for knowledge of the future.
