I know there are many discussions on various doctrines that deal with God's nature. ie He treats us as heirs, He treats us as sinnere, He treats us as servants, etc. Sadly these doctrines seem to be mutually exclusive of each other.
Doesn't God treat us as we need? When I rededicated my life I was real upset that I wasn't seeing healings, miracles, and such around me. I heard about them happening but never saw them. So one night a friend of mine was praying with me and I asked about it. God told me via my friend that God would not be a showman for me, to do tricks in order to please me and make me happy. I had just comeout of some serious occult stuff and God was taking me in a different direction. Today because of that, I tend to be a real Word person and I see miracles, but God revealed His wisdom to me in ways almost unexpressable. I see people getting miracles all around me and have had a few myself, but the thing I most hear from God is .... "My Word is enough"
