It's exactly that kind of wishful thinking that cost Romney the election.

There is, perhaps a morsel of reality in there. I have noticed that second generation Latinos are pretty well "Americanized". If the GOP gets its collective head out of its caucus, these folks are potential recruits.

This. Many of my friends, whom are also 2nd generation hispanics, voted for Romney.

Hispanics are an extremely diverse group. It is kinda annoying how people lump them together as if they all do, believe or think the same things.
