[Colossians 2:3-4]; In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. And this I say lest any man beguile you with enticing words.

Paul's concern herein is that there are men, who by the principle of subtility and craftiness can still come to the woman(the Church) and tell her that the tree of the knowledge of good and evil is desirable to make one wise.

When Paul says that the woman was deceived, what truly was the deception? We know for a fact that the enemy did not lie when he said that they would become as Gods, knowing good and evil for God himself later affirms this truth.

The deception was in the insinuation that the fullness of the God life could come by the knowledge of good and evil. Even if they became as Gods, they did not become Gods. They developed a form of godliness but without the power thereof.

The only way they could have carried the fullness of the God life was if they had eaten of the tree of life; the substance of Christ.

Now, for every tree, is a seed, which seed is the word; the message. Thus, Paul speaks of men that preach a knowledge of good and evil to point men to a life in God rather than preach Christ, the embodiment of the fullness of the life of God.

One message creates men that swing between the pendulums of good and evil, blessing and calamity. He is rich but sick. She is married but barren.

The other creates men that carry the fullness of the life of God in all dimensions; divine health, divine providence and wisdom.
