Struggling with my Christianity

It's not that I am thinking about losing my Christianity. It's simply that after growing up in church and hearing the stories of Noah building the ark, Moses parting the water, etc. that most of the time they seem to be nothing but children's stories.
Please pray that God grant me a fresh view on things. It would be much appreciated.

Children of God and what better story to read to His children?
God is our Father and the Red Sea and Noah's Ark are true stories for us, His children.
