What's your favourite Steinbeck classic?

I love Of Mice and Men. I'm reading East of Eden right now and so far love it - I'm reading Grapes of Wrath after I finish East of Eden. I'm excited I read the Pearl in like grade 7 or 8 I think it was and liked it a lot as well.

I liked The Pearl by Steinbeck because it showed just how much greed can consume a person and take over them. I also liked The Red Pony (or something like that), but felt it was to be read at a younger level than when I did read it .

ive only read 'of mice and men'. when i was in secondary school i had to read it for english literature which i wasnt keen on lol..but i loved it

East of Eden, followed closely by Of Mice and Men. I also liked Steinbeck's nonfiction book Travels With Charley.

I voted for Canery Row because it's my favorite listed, but I actually liked Sweet Thursday a bit better.

I've read everything on the list except The Winter of Our Discontent. I voted for Cannery Row, because it's the one I had the most fun reading, but all of the others are definitely deeper books.

Grapes & Mice are the only ones I've read and Grapes is my choice of the two.
