This is all so petty. Just wait until ISIS starts bombing churches of all colors and types; killing hundreds. Burning down a few buildings or shooting a dozen people will seem like next to nothing.

We have a BIGGER problem here people.

Many Americans would immediately agree with you, but you have to remember that stoking this animosity and division at home are people who think better of radical Islam than they do of their own country.

Burning churches today is petty to the thought of somebody possibly burning churches in the future?

I guess you are one of those '2 birds in the bush' kinda guy.

Yes we do. Such as our own homegrown terrorists like the kid who shot the 6 in the church are much more of a problem than ISIS.

Which is why ISIS has been able to recruit people here. Over 50 arrested since January and no one knows how many more there are.

Why I'll bet there are thousands, no, hundreds of thousands, no, millions of ISIS recruits! You are gonna have to look under every tree, bush and in every alley to find them. Better get busy! :swoon:

Answer:

Who cares? It really has nothing to do with the burnings today.

Maybe. Maybe not. The church burnings in the nineties were said to be the result of racism, the resurgence of the Ku Klux Klan, the Christian Coalition. In other words, the Right was blamed.

Nonsense. First it was a question about some burnings in the 90's, and miraculously you remember that the right was blamed.

Don't you ever research anything before posting?

Yes, between the time I posted and my "miraculous remembrance", looked up the topic and found some things.

Really, its not unheard of.

when 100 churches are burned by ISIS in the united states, you can talk about it, for now we have real actual problems going on.

And EVEN if ISIS blew up 1000 churches tomorow, that doesn't mean we should ignore white terrorist attacks because it's not Muslims.

I am of the opinion that when ISIS starts blowing up churches of all races and ethnicities, the racial thing will be rendered irrelevant. We will all have to work together to survive.

Unless one it attempting to minimize these burnings....which is what I believe is being done.

This topic is not about ISIS. Stop with the red herrings.
