he was a good guy in 1959 "The Hound of the Baskervilles" he was Sherlock Holmes in "Sherlock Holmes and the deadly neckless" he was a good guy in "The Devil Rides Out" also.

I remember watching a interview he did years ago with Conan O'Brien back when he was still on NBC, watching him was like watching a scholar talk about his subject of study.
