This guy is a Nazi. He should be arrested and forced to be incarcerated under a regime such as his.
How is he a Nazi? Enforcing immigration laws, asking for proof of citizenship, and being tough with the jail, I fail to see how that's fascist.
Have you ever been in jail?
I served a year sentence in the Los Angeles County Jail. It's a nightmare.
Under Arpaio it's worse.

I doubt that eating vegetarian is cheaper. I can personally attest to consistently paying higher prices for food for eating vegetarian at most establishments. I'm sure you could find someone who could generate an even cheaper menu while still retaining meat, crappy meat that's for sure, but meat nonetheless. I don't see any reason to heap accolades on this man.He is saving $100,000 of tax payer money going meatless.
And if ppl like to eat meat - they should rethink committing a crime in his area.
Joe Arpaio makes his inmates wear pink underwear, as if that is immasculating or humiliating for them, enforcing not only "the law," but gender discrimination as well. In order to take over yet another aspect of his inmates' lives, he has now instituted another level of deprivation, an exclusively vegetarian menu. I'm mostly vegetarian myself, but I know that going from a meat-based to a vegetarian lifestyle can be chemically demanding on the body. But who knows? Maybe that's what he wants, to incapacitate his inmates chemically for the purpose of control. Heck, given the authority, the man would control which hand his inmates use to touch.
Nah. I'm a weird, boring guy. I've always obeyed the laws!

I dont think restaurant food is comparably to jail food.I doubt that eating vegetarian is cheaper. The thing is - since its bad - ppl dont often want to go back. And i think thats the point. Then you wouldn't really have a clue of how bad it is in jail or how much worse Arpaio is making it for his inmates.
