NASA's gearing up for something big for the April 8, 2024, total solar eclipse. They're planning to launch, not one,
but three rockets into the eclipse's shadow, calling the mission… “Serpent Deity.”

Kind of makes you think of their logo, doesn't it? That twisty serpent tongue ISNT just for show.

The project, named Atmospheric Perturbations Around The Eclipse Path or APEP, is SAID “to explore how the eclipse affects the upper atmosphere.”
