i didnt see the state that its in listed in the article
but it does mention the law firm in michigan

if its occuring there then i would be suprised if it is upheld

a few states down and i would be suprised it if was overturned

I believe this is the Dover trial, which is in Pennsylvania.

I few cities here in Michigan have tried this, or are currently trying this.

I doubt we'll let it happen, though. Especially with U of. M here. They look out for us. Hehe.

Evolution should be taught in schools...

along with...other scientific facts...

-reincarnation is impossible.
-ghosts, demons, angels don't exist as souls don't exist.
-Adam and Eve never existed as described in the Bible.
-numerous Biblical events are impossible as they are contradicted by evolution and physics.
-numerous Koranic events are impossible as they are contradicted by science.
-numerous events in Hindu mythology are impossible as they are contradicted by science.
-Astrology can not possibly predict events.

One goal of the government should be to promote a technologically and scientifically advanced society with its roots in atheism. These so called "beliefs" of people are in the way of scientific progress. To educate the population, misconceptions about the nature of the world and how to manipulate it for technological and material gain would be best eliminated. This includes religion of almost any kind.

I'm so sick of this debate. If you want to learn about God creating the world, take a religion class. If you want to learn how humanity developed over the years biologically, take a science class.

yes but what people want is indoctrination which works best from multiple sources and repetition
also parents are lazy so they want schools to teach their kids religion as well as morality

cause these parents probably arent moral or religious
(address all complaints to my private message box, it's lonely in there ;))

Thanks for the heads-up! But if you want to know how and why God created the world, then read your bible as well. Not just take a religion class.
