Ruts/Isolation

Hello,
It's been months since I've been in here.

Yeah you can say all I do is work, come home. not much positive in my life and how easy it is to isolate your self from the cruel world.
don't get me wrong I tried making penpals, friends, coming into these forums and it still does not take away the fact that I am alone. I am human I can only do and try so much, and yes I have talk to people at church and go to a small group, lets face 1 hour and half is not enough positive in anyones life.

have you talked to your study group or church staff about how you feel?
in my personal walk with Christ, i have learned that when i have feelings that throw me off... i need to start seeking and listening. when i can't figuar it out i ask for fellowship. hang in there! God's taking you somewhere with it...
sometimes God has planned for us to work things out with another person/people... i pray that your thinking will be renewed and you will seek and listen to where God is leading you. ...... and if you have done these things, let Christ comfort you.... except your trials and praise God. the greatest healling we could ever have is mercy. count trails and difficulty as joy

I know what you mean about being lonely... and isolating yourself. I work and come home. I get online. I go to sleep... only to start the same old same old cycle day after day. I know why I am lonely.... I lack good social skills. On Sunday I have a hard time talking to people so I leave immediately after church. You are one up on me... you are part of a small group. I can't even do that.

I come to CF... and I still haven't made many connections. Being alone is hard. You feel invisible... marginalized. I'm glad you started this thread because you are not the only one who feels this way. I have no easy answers for you... if I did, I wouldn't be lonely.

I can offer to pray for you... and I will always PM you back if you PM me. You can tell me about your day or whatevere else you want to talk about. I can regal you with stories of teaching 1-3 graders. We can talk about whatever under the stars. I came here looking for friends back in Feb. of last year... and am finding that the only way to make friends is to first be one.

your not alone in this. I still go through it also. I find playing worship music cheers me or reading and praying. Never had many friends myself. It gets to me really bad sometimes but God is the biggest and the BEST friend that WE can ever have.
