Russian Propagandists view Youtube News items as "dissinformation"

As we saw so often in liberal press during the 2020 election - what turned out to be reliable news items were being called "disinformation" whenever the facts did not serve a certain agenda.

Whether it was in regard to the now full-confirmed Hunter Laptop emails , images etc, or the fact that Russia did not steal the 2016 election, or the fact that nothing of substance happened that was illegal in the case of aid to Ukraine and the U.S. government or the fact that "yes" even the U.K now admits that COVID-19 was the Wuhan Corona Virus....

Well here we can see the Russians themselves getting some of the treatment - done to them.

Details: Prigozhin claims that since Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, a "full-scale information war" has been launched against the Russian Federation, involving the extensive use of "disinformation and negative attitudes inculcated via YouTube".​

Of course some will say "right when we do it...wrong when they do it..." but I think most people see through that kind of "solution".

As J.R.R. Tolkien described the evil one in Middle Earth, he could not create. He could only corrupt that which was already created. And so Sauron made orcs by corrupting elves, who were made by the Iluvitar. Everything the evil one made was just a corruption of something that was good.

Here too we see a truth that was brought to light by dedicated journalists doing good work in exposing disinformation. The reputation of this good work was corrupted the evil ones in Russia. They saw how people were respecting the those journalists who exposed disinformation and thought "We want a piece of that action!". And so they began using the term too, in a dark parody of a work that was good to twist it into its opposite. But like with Sauron of Middle Earth, their parody of journalism bore none of the goodness of the original. All could really do is cast doubt that there is any goodness or truth anywhere, and so they are partly successful.

If you look around you can see many examples of good things being corrupted by bad people. Those who stand up for the rights of the marginalized are lauded, so let's use the same language to protest how the powerful in society are being treated unfairly too. You can usually tell which is the original and which is the corrupted copy by seeing which one came first.
