prayers, please

humbly asking for prayers.
i stumbled and fell sprawled fill length in my kitchen today.

scraped three knuckles open, and the joint of one finger, and pulled some back muscles. to stand, move, or walk is extremely painful.
the good news is that there's nothing broken, my glasses are still in one piece, all my fingers still work, and all this will heal eventually.
but meanwhile i am rather immobile. and miserable.

looking on the good side (there is one?) i don't have to be anywhere, i have plenty of food for myself and Elijah, and it's toward the end of the month, so there is less mail to worry about having to collect.
so if you could spare a few minutes, please.... thanks.

thanks! i did keep warm overnight and was able to walk out to the computer without pain this morning....but just one way. the trip back was eeeeeouch!

needless to say there will be lots of bed time and less 'puter time, as there's a whole house between the two to traverse.

Ugh. I feel your pain at the moment. I recently "kissed the ground" myself a couple days ago, on a concrete floor at work. So yeah, few spare minutes for you too!

my hand is healing, the back, not so much.
i made it to mass Saturday and was able to receive in my seat. afterwards some friends helped me back to my car.
my mother-in-law passed last week,
and her memorial service is set for tomorrow at noon.
so i shall go to that, but then mainly stick around the house for the rest of the week, trying to give my back some rest.
