The storms were very close to our home. Our home, barn, animals remained untouched by the grade of God. Across the street from us, several homes were destroyed. A friend of ours was not as lucky. She and her family lost everything when her home was leveled. It's a sad time in this area. May stray and lost animals have been collected and taken to shelters, more are still hiding or are unaccounted for. Although there were no deaths due to the tornado that hit close to us, there were several in the others that hit Rowlett and Garland. We are #TexasStrong and will rebuild. The community has come together, volunteers are helping rebuild the destroyed school as well as the church. Please continue to pray for our area as we rebuild.
