Lately I have been really depressed. I feel trapped in friendships I no longer want and other things that are deeply bothering me. I want to seek God more and I wish I could find more real Christians who are willing to give up worldlyness for God like myself. For example i gave up suporting companies like starbucks but i know a majority of the people i know would judge me if i told them i dont support gay marriage because it is a sin. I often times feel like an outcast even in so called 'Christian' groups that to me don't have God in the center at all. Why is it so hard to find people who truly love God first? We live in a world where if you have morals your not aloud to be honest with how you feel...

Yes, I think I know what you mean. God has made me even quit watching tv. But for some people that maybe ok to watch some, I just know for me it is not.

I think you are putting to much thought into it honestly. Things like starbucks while you might not want to use them, it really doesn't mean anything if others do. It's not a salvation issue that's for sure. Some people choose not to listen to secular music and some choose to. When i'm in a car and someone is listening to secular music i don't ask them to turn it off. I respect them and we go on our way together. There is no reason to ask them to turn it off, you will just build a stumbling block in your relationship.

So what if people judge you, we all judge. You are judging your friends in your post, several times. Your job is to be an example. And if you are doing what you are supposed to be doing then God can do what he does through you. Let him worry about everyone else and you do what you need to do. If you surround yourself with perfect people then what good is that for the kingdoms sake?
