Yes, one of my favorites. It is more that I was a fan of Kerry Livgren, which I have followed since he left Kansas. He has recorded many Christian themed albums. He had a stroke a few years back but has mostly recovered and is playing again. I have enjoy his inspirational lyrics. He made a movie which I bought, called The Imposter. It was made to be a church discussion movie. He made a remake of Carry on Wayward Son

I'm not sure as to whether or not this would be considered a secular song. It is a country song from about 20 years ago. I remember the music video being played on CMT network in the mid 1990's.

I remembered this song from the 80's. I find it disappointing that the person who typed the lyrics on this video chose to spell "God" with a small "g" rather than a capital.

I wouldn't necessarily classify the songs of this thread to be secular. Religious or Christian songs by secular artists might be more accurate.

One of my favourites is "Prayer of the Heart" by Bjork, a beautifully spiritual song that John Tavener wrote for her. To my knowledge Bjork has never come to the Christian faith, yet this song is blatantly Christian in content. Sung in four different languages: English, Greek, Church Slavonic, and Coptic, she sings "Lord Jesus Christ, Son Of God, Have Mercy Upon Me". It is a powerful performance.
