I made a brief mention of this in another thread, but I thought I'd make a separate one for it.
A close friend of mine for the last 8 years has decided to give his life up for Christ by being baptised in Mansfield tomorrow.
I think it's been a good decision for him because he had previously lived a very decadent and sedentary life, and now he's finally secured himself a new job and his band is currently undergoing a resurgence (they've just released their debut album after 10 years together).
I'm very proud of this guy for laying his personal demons to rest and looking to make a fresh start. I am currently teaching him how to use the internet, and will see if I can get him to join this forum.
Thanks all.
