Thanks for starting this thread Dracil. I lurk here a few times a week, usually when I'm working in the middle of the night and have some time to read and catch up. Some of the stuff I read here makes me mental, but most of it is interesting, entertaining and informative.

Thank you all, the full spectrum of Creationists from YECs to Gappers to OEC to TEs for participating in OT!

I think you would sooner be made fun of for listening to Linkin Park than Christian music anywhere out there in the real world.

"I wanna cry
Or maybe die
Pie in the sky
Stick a needle in my eye"

Ugh!

To be fair, Linkin Park has progressed a lot artistically since Hybrid Theory, and it's important to note that their music is supposed to sound non-specific. Their stated goal is to identify with basic feelings and common problems, not with anything specific. Some people feel the need for more solid metaphor and lyrical grounding than they offer up, but some like the fact that the music is both varied and versatile.

That, and their music has great rhythm.

Wow. I'm somewhat surprised to find so many members lurking in OT. I probably shouldn't be, but I am. That said, welcome. Unfortunately, I haven't figured out how to email beer. Every time I try, I have to buy a new DVD drive. I'm sure I'm getting close.

In lieu of that, here's a special Kirby dance:
