Can a person become a transgender against his will?
I don't think so because I think it's a state of mind. Biology has proven that we are male and female so if you "think" you're the opposite sex you're wrong.

AV asserts that something really important changed about Pluto when it's designation was changed from "planet" to "dwarf planet" and that the change was made by a rigged vote of the astronomical committee which makes such designations. Hence, "to pluto" a verb describing a change in a definition for nefarious purposes.

BINGO!

"Pluto" was voted the word-of-the year for 2006 by the American Dialect Society.

All I see from this is another transparent attempt from AV to continue his vehement and vindictive crusade on blaming anything and everything he doesn't like on scientists, just because.

Is that all you see?

Is transgenderism a product of cause-and-effect?

If so, I'd like to see how science justifies this sinful practice -- (assuming they do).

And if it hasn't been justified yet, what exactly are scientists looking into that would cause this to happen?

Can a person become a transgender against his will?

On the other hand, if not, then what does academia attribute this to?

I blame social media!

That's all I see because that what it is. If you cared, you'd actually try and narrow down the field instead of just going "I'd like to see how science justifies..." and "what exactly are scientists looking into...". And also no commentary from you about science would be incomplete without "then what does academia attribute...".

The twin evils you tilt your 'lance' at: science and academia.

Afaik, the only physical differences between a genuine trans person and?...normal person are elongated brain receptors and larger neurons in a certain part of the brain.

These don't explain the psychological genesis of dysmorphia but it's potentially a clue. The issue is, that it's only after death that it may be possible to say whether a person was genuinely trans or not. And what good is that?
Well, we'd know whether to bury them in a suit or a dress.

I agree completely. Also, our minds can be delusional and play tricks on us. etc.

Oh there is no interest of an actual discussion on this thread. If there was he'd know what he's asking.

So it IS being looked into by scientists, I take it?

Ya -- if I remember right, an autopsy showed that Charles Whitman had a brain tumor.

Some of this stuff can only be done post-mortem.
Some involved in the neurosciences are investigating but I imagine the main thrust of research would be on other disorders; strokes, alzheimers, parkinsons, etc;. Real problems.

We are taxing the healthcare with these diseases and should be first to cure. I think more funding needs to go into nutritional science for dementia and Alzheimer's.

Care to elaborate? Sounds like a bit of a looney claim.
We are often products of our environment. And the more immorality we’re exposed to and the more it is glorified the less immoral we perceive it to be because it becomes the norm.

Yes ... and moreso when science justifies it.

The LGBTQPIAXYZ+ mob would probably love that.
Why? They believe that their own genitals are just their business.

Don't you believe that your genitals aren't really another person's business?
