To the objection that monergistic regeneration "forces" people to make a decision or removes free will:

You simply have to acknowledge that that a fallen person sins both 1) out of necessity and 2) freely (ie, all people who are born after Adam (except Jesus) are slaves of sin and thus can't help but sin during their lives)

In like manner, what Irresistible Grace teaches is that a person chooses Jesus both 1) out of necessity and 2) freely, the same way an unregenerate person sins both necessarily and freely.

The only way one can deny this is to deny that a fallen person sins out of necessity (ie, that sinless perfectionism is a possibility)
