Methodological Naturalism

Methodological naturalism is a philosophy that seeks to redefine science both as the ultimate source of truth and knowledge but the very definition of science itself.

What I must conclude from all this is that Creationists don't know the difference between methodological naturalism and metaphysical/ontological naturalism. And what's more they seem to have been sucked in by metaphysical naturalism, they too seem to think that science is the apex of all knowledge and if God exists he must be provable by science.

methodological naturalism is not just investigations of the natural world,

But MN is all about investigations of the natural world, supernatural explanations are excluded not because they didn't happen but because we cannot know, using naturalisic tools, if they, whatever 'they' may be, did happen or not.

it requires exclusivly naturalistic explanations for absolutely everything

...yes everything in the natural world.

Creationists fall into the same trap as the Richard Dawkins of this world, they think that because Science can't comment on the 'supernatural' (whatever form that may take) then Science says that there isn't a supernatural.

Fundamentally, 2 + 2 = 4 whether you have bowed the knee to Jesus or not.

How would you suggest we go about finding out what the chances of rain are tomorrow?

Gosh, you TEs sure are ignorant! Here are 3 simple ways:

1. Fish entrails
2. Tea leaves
3. Divination

Of course, the most reliable method is simply to pray, believe in your heart that you will receive the truth, and just wait for God to answer with an open heart and mind. (If he does not answer it might mean there is a sin in your life that you need to deal with.)
