a few offenders may get life but thats only if they're voilent offenders and have abused more then one person.
If you go to any sex offender database and look at how long they were in prison you'd see time ranging from 2 months to 5 years. occasionally more then that.
the time they get depends on whether it was voilent etc and also incest. for incest the trend is that they get less time.
