Am I the only one who did a tiiiiiiny double take on reading this?
We might not be human in Heaven either. We might not have a body. Just due to the vagueness of what is in Heaven, who knows what is gonna be there. And companionship doesn't mean you're married to them, it also means friendship. I think A friendship in Heaven can be more powerful than even a good marriage on Earth.

I definitely think it's better to be single then in the wrong relationship. We never know who or when we will marry, if at all. We do need to continue to live right in God though and keep our eyes trained on him and his will.

Should have read further...Why wouldn't we be human in Heaven? What would we be then? Why wouldn't we have a body when God made us in His image? This is probably a whole nother thread tho

I can't see myself marrying a guy within a year.
How would you feel comfortable knowing their character unless you had known them for at least 2 years?

I have heard stories of such, my mother's second marriage came within 8months I believe. So its possible, I don't know if I have enough hope of it for myself though. But this post was encouraging though.
