He's what I make of it:

A Supreme Court justice is so corrupt he is actually espousing a politically view openly in public.

So much for the impartiality of the judiciary.

St. Thomas More would be appalled.

Guys, those hats are part of the traditional and rarely worn judicial regalia. It isn't anything new. Scalia probably just wore that one because he received it as a gift.

Yes. St. Thomas wore that style of cap because all lawyers at the time wore that style as they did for centuries before and hence.

Scalia, to his credit, was simply wearing a rather traditional judical hage given the cold outdoor weather. The St. Thomas More stuff is a little silly.
