Yesterday I got my first year clean in NA. It was great my sponsor bought me a cheesecake. I love cheesecake. Unfortunately one of my friends from the program didn't come and I'm afraid something bad might have happened. I gave him a call before I went and he said he got arrested and would probably going to jail. He was clean but he was speeding 19 over the limit and when the Police Officer saw his previous record he gave him a hard time. The officer said that Junkies never change and that he was still using drugs. He searched him and the car and found that he had someone elses ID in his wallet that he found on the ground years ago and never threw out. He seemed really upset but he said he was coming to see me get my year. He never showed up and didn't answer his phone when I called back.
