The clue is found in his first miracles he did at the prompting of his Mother. It wasn't his time but he honored her by stepping out in faith and blessing the wedding party. There was a set time for the revelation of who he was and what he would and could do and that time was preordained to be after his teen years. Jesus did survive the hormonal trial of his teen years without sexual sin or thought of any kind and we ourselves must strive in the same manner. Fornication is a much bigger deal with God then most Christians I know seem to think.

Joseph how can you say He survived without sexual sin when the story is left out? We don't know anything about his teenage years. I am not suggesting He did do this but to make any claims about a time period we know nothing about seems ridiculous.

The Bible seems to discuss Jesus the baby in the manger but then skips to Jesus as an adult and healer. Why does it skip the part about his youth? It may have been less important but it just seems odd to totally discount it.
Jesus did not begin his ministry until he was about thirty years of age. He died three years later.

Why didn't he begin before that? For one, you weren't really an adult until that age in the hebrew culture. It seems to me that it was the Father's will that Jesus was fully mature before he began.
In addition, there was some major preparation before Jesus's ministry. John the Baptist was an important part of God's plan, being the forerunner. He preached for years, preparing "the way of the Lord". He later baptized Jesus.

Why didn't the gospel at least tell us about His early life.

1. It was probably uneventful/ordinary.
2. Because of (1), it was probably not well-known to those who wrote the gospels.

Hope that is an okay answer.

We must also be mindful that Scripture is God's Word. God tells us what we need to know, what He wants us to know; which may not be what we want to know.:preach:
