Peace in Christ.

Our Savior Jesus Christ has abolished death…that is, has rendered it idle.

This is a here-and-now good news in this world for our mortal bodies NOW (and not a “hereafter” thing as being universally being preached by those who do not truly understand the gospel).

We are now "mortal"....that is, subject to death...as our mortal bodies have not physically died yet. Yet, He has brought life and immortality to light through the good news of our salvation in the here-and-now.

2Ti 1:10 KJV
(10) But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:

Whosoever believes INTO Him should not perish (perishing =our mortal body dying off this earth) but shall have eternal life. This is a NOW thing as salvation is NOW. Faith is active. Faith is doing.

John 3:
(15) That whosoever believeth in (INTO) him should not perish, but have eternal life.
(16) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life
.

We are to die to sin continually so that His life that is within us is made manifest outwardly in our outer mortal flesh giving us His eternal life in this earth (for all to see and glorify God).

This “always bearing in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus” is the “daily” sacrifice we are to keep so that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body….in our outer mortal flesh…which gives us His eternal life in this world.

2Co 4:10-11 KJV
(10) Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
(11) For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.

We are to set our affections on things above. We are to be “dead” to sin….to deaden our members which are upon the earth…. so that when Christ, who is our life, shall appear (to be made manifest in our outer mortal flesh), we shall appear with Him in glory (as then the world shall see His manifest eternal life in our outer mortal flesh and will glorify God in Heaven above).

We must "work out" our salvation by mortifying the deeds of our body so that our mortal bodies shall live....which is the redemption of our mortal bodies (the purchased possession). If we do not die to sin (after the receiving of the Spirit), we shall mortally perish from off this earth.

Col 3:2-6 KJV
(2) Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
(3) For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
(4) When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

(5) Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:
(6) For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:

We receive His Spirit and through His Spirit we are to kill the Sin out of our lives so that we no longer serve it and we await patiently/with endurance the REDEMPTION OF OUR BODY.

Rom 8:23-25 KJV
(23) And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
(24) For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
(25) But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it

Just by receiving the “deposit” of the Holy Spirit is not enough.

We MUST also (through the Spirit) mortify…that is, kill…the deeds of the body so that we shall live as His eternal life shall be made manifest in our outer mortal flesh…the redemption of the body.

If we continue to live after the flesh (after the receiving of His Spirit), we shall mortally die.

Rom 8:12-14 KJV
(12) Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
(13) For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
(14) For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

We are to hear the Word of Truth....the good news of our salvation (the healing of our stricken-by-sin mortal bodies). We are sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise....the promise of eternal life in our mortal bodies.

Eph 1:13-14 KJV
(13) In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

With His Spirit, we are to do His will. By doing His will (as His Spirit gives us the will to do), we await then the redemption of our mortal body (the purchased possession) unto the praise of His glory as this world will then see His made-manifest eternal life in our mortal body and will praise the Father above.

(14) Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

Don’t believe those who are preaching “another gospel” who claim we are just “sinners saved by grace”.

The fact is that they are perishing away in their mortal bodies to the grave and are deceiving many into going down that broad way with them to their destruction without this eternal life of Jesus being made manifest in their mortal flesh. They are servants of decay as they mortally perish along to the grave.

They are promising you “liberty” from the keeping of His daily sacrifice as they seek to bring you into their bondage of the keeping of man’s church handwriting of ordinances (which are used to judge others which is then continuing to serve THE Sin). Receiving the Spirit alone is not enough as we must also slay the sin out of our mortal lives with His Spirit so that we are made manifest in this creation as a son of God. The whole creation is awaiting this manifestation of the sons of God so that it itself is no longer in decay.

2Pe 2:19 KJV
(19) While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.

The good news (gospel) is hid to those who are “lost”…that is, PERISHING.

They continue to mortally perish because the good news has been hid to the eyes of their understanding. They are preaching and serving themselves rather than the Lord Jesus. Their minds have been blinded as they serve for their own bellies as they handle the Word of God deceitfully in the covetousness hidden in their hearts. They preach for earthly things only and make us perishing merchandise as they use feigned words to hide the covetousness hidden in their own hearts.

If we listen to them, we also perish as we are not getting fed the true Word of God. We are not hearing the true good news of our salvation which is for the here-and-now.

2Co 4:2-5 KJV
(2) But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.
(3) But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
(4) In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
(5) For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.

They are enemies of the cross of Christ as they take away the keeping of His “daily” sacrifice out of the lives of their congregations as they promise them “liberty” from doing so. If His daily sacrifice is not being kept, then His eternal life is not being made manifest.

Php 3:17-21 KJV
(17)
Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.
(18) (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ
:

Their end is destruction as their mortal bodies perish from off this earth under the wrath of God that comes upon them. Their “god” is their belly as that is all that they are thinking about when they “preach” ….handling the Word of God deceitfully. They are minding earthly things (how to get their earthly needs met by being a “preacher”) rather than focusing on things above when they supposedly “serve” Him.

(19) Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)

They are not looking for the Lord Jesus Christ to come and change our humiliated bodies in this earth to be like His.

The “working” is the keeping of His daily sacrifice in our lives so that He is able to subdue all things to Himself. The false prophets promise you liberty from doing so: “we are all sinners saved by grace” supposedly without actually dying to sin continuously.

(20) For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:
(21) Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

LET NO MAN DECEIVE YOU about this. We are not "sinners saved by grace". If we abide in Him, we sin not. We keep His daily sacrifice in our bodies so that His life is made manifest in our mortal flesh.

Every one who has this hope in Him purifies himself as He is pure. We have to actually die to sin (purifying ourselves) so that we no longer serve it. When He shall appear in our mortal flesh, we shall be like Him as we shall see Him as He is.

1Jn 3:2-7 KJV
(2) Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
(3) And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
(4) Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
(5) And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
(6) Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
(7) Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

See how that the preaching of the spirit/breath of antichrist does not acknowledge that Jesus IS COMING now in our mortal flesh.

Those who are preaching from another spirit are not looking for Jesus to transfigure/transform our vile bodies to be like His in the here-and-now. Their end is the destruction of the flesh as they do not understand the gospel.

Instead, the false prophets are all preaching that Jesus DELAYS His coming as they do NOT preach that Jesus IS COMING in the flesh…our outer mortal flesh which is to manifest His eternal life in this world.

1Jn 4:1-5 KJV
(1) Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
(2) Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

The spirit of the antichrist preaches that "He (their "jesus") should come". We have all heard their preaching of this in every "church" gathering. They ...the false prophets...are the people of the prince that "shall come" and not IS COMING now in our mortal flesh.

This is what John is saying here (that they are saying He should come someday) as he then tells us that they are ALREADY now in this world.

(3) And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
(4) Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
(5) They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them
.

We are to await the redemption of our mortal bodies in this earth. We need though to endure (patience) so that after we have done the will of God, we might receive the promise of eternal life as the life of Jesus shall be made manifest in our outer mortal flesh.

Heb 10:36-38 KJV
(36) For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

He that IS COMING will arrive and will not tarry…that is, WILL NOT DELAY. The Just One….Jesus Christ….shall live in our mortal flesh by our faith in Him. Faith is active as we must believe INTO Him in order to have His everlasting life in this earth. Whoever believes INTO Him shall have everlasting life. If we do not, His life shall "draw back" from being made manifest in our outer mortal flesh and we shall perish.

(37) For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.
(38) Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

But the evil servant will not believe this good news and will continue to think that the Lord “delays His coming” and will persecute His servants who are sent out to preach the gospel in the Spirit of Truth.

Luk 12:45 KJV
(45) But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken;

Just by receiving the “deposit” of the Holy Spirit is not enough.
This is a very strange thing to say since He makes His Home in us through His Holy Spirit. The only transformative experience by our Father through His Son, Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Calling this a "deposit" shows a severe lack of understanding.
I'll pray for you.
Be blessed.
