Not that that's a bad thing.

But for years I have not been able to *not* think about God. My first thoughts upon waking are about God, and my final thoughts before sleeping are about God. Whether I'm working, playing pool, fishing, watching TV, cooking, drinking, it doesn't matter: my mind is on God. I can't even look at a blade of grass, flower, tree, cloud, animal, or person without seeing God. Everything is God, God, God.

I do have to wonder, is this normal for a Christian? Is it obsessive?

I imagine that it is a good thing?
I think it would have to be, right? What better thoughts could there possibly be? You're always close to God. Seeing him in all of creation gives him glory and can't be a bad thing, either. If he's on your mind, you're also more mindful of your thoughts, words, and deeds, and you recognize the convicting power of the Spirit.

That is what I would like to think.

That is the highest form of prayer. Your life is dedicated to God. You are constantly thinking of God and contemplating him in everything.

You have the heart of the law written on your heart. You shall love the lord thy God with all their heart with all thy soul and with all your mind

I do it too.
