Is there a way that a young earth and an old earth be true? It's all about perspective

Time Dilation

In the theory of relativity, time dilation is a difference of elapsed time between two events as measured by observers either moving relative to each other or differently situated from a gravitational mass or masses.

An accurate clock at rest with respect to one observer may be measured to tick at a different rate when compared to a second observer's own equally accurate clocks. This effect arises neither from technical aspects of the clocks nor from the fact that signals need time to propagate, but from the nature of spacetime itself.

Interesting thread.

How old is the Earth? We don't know.
Does it matter? No.

It's up to each individual to believe scientific data leading to a theory.

God is spirit not affected by physical laws. So time is not allotted to him.

And neither is physical. To us we see a huge universe. To the spiritual it's small, decaying, dying, burning out. Alpha and Omega is understanding that it doesn't exist in spirituality. Christ has been with us from the beginning and will be with us till the end, yet he lives eternally. It is the knowledge he brought to a destructive Aeon, that an eternal Aeon exists.
