The Duo 2 Core has two processors on one chipset. It took years to Intel to accomplish that. Two months later, they released a QUAD core with four processors. (Price tag $900).

What's next? 8 Core. Target: Q1 2007.

Is it me, or is this an extremely bad time to buy a brand new top of the line computer? haha

I guess Intel finally figured out how that technology works that they got from flying saucer crash in Roswell NM back in 1947 that the US government has been covering up for years....

I'm still waiting for the hard drive replacements.

Bleeding Edge computing is never good. Within a few weeks of buying it, it's no longer bleeding Edge :D

I like to stay within a generation or so of it though, but even then, my current system is no where near it anymore (but it is over a year old :D )

AMD64 3500 w/2G Ram and a little over 1TB Hard drive storage.

Sometime this upcoming year I plan on upgrading it, but not any time real soon.
