Rep. Max Miller (R-OH) is facing fierce backlash after he called out a woman on Twitter for her message about the Christian faith.
“There’s no hope for any of us outside of having faith in Jesus Christ alone,” Lizzie Marbach wrote.
In response, the Jewish Republican lawmaker posted a scathing reply. “This is one of the most bigoted tweets I have ever seen,” he wrote. “Delete it, Lizzie.”
“Religious freedom in the United States applies to every religion,” he continued. “You have gone too far.”
Even Rep. Ilhan Omar said the congressman had crossed the line.
