God's family in Christ

In Christ, God is our father and mother. He refers to himself as a mother hen. We are all siblings. In a way we are like fathers and mothers to each other but in an older sibling kind of way.

We lead each ither to Christ always but we are Christ as well. We weep and care for each other in our weaknesses.

Our natural family however can be a hindrance to our faith. We might act like them but not Christ. This is a mistake..

Yes. I would only suggest you say, "we act on behalf of Christ"--not, "we are Christ."

We are ... if possible to live in peace .... if that is not possible then we are to separate from those disturbing the peace ... and sometimes that can include family members.

We are like him. It's his spirit in us. We dont replace him but we are like him in many ways. We grow into his image.
