Do you know, that;
We will never be sufficiently free of the curse to see God until we have a new body which is no longer prone to sin. Even with the present and abiding Holy Spirit we still in ourselves are not as pure as we must ultimately be to see God.

The promised reward of seeing God assumes God’s intervention and work in completing our salvation. Until that time, while we remain in this body, we will in fact waver in our devotion; we are not and will not be steadfast.

We will not see God now as we will then.
Paul cried out, Who will rescue me from this body of death.” The answer, “Thanks be to God – through Jesus Christ my Lord!”

Even the most pumped up and positive ones of us find ourselves
broken and weary at some point in our life. It isn't so hard to
believe and follow Jesus when we are soaring on the wings of eagles
or running and not getting weary in our walk with God. Often the
toughest time to keep our faith vibrant is when we are trying to
keep putting one foot in front of the other while not fainting. In
those moments of absolute powerlessness, weakness, and brokenness
the Lord is often most real, most powerful, and most present.

God bless you all.

Heavenly Father, forgive us when we fail. Keep us and guide us when we go through difficulties. Help us to focus our hearts on You and guard our countenance so that others too can see You at work in our lives.
We praise You and exalt Your Holy Name and we lift up the wonderful name of Jesus forever and ever, in Who ’s name we pray, Amen
Amen!!!

Have a restful night everyone, God bless you!

Be submissive to those who are older. All of you, clothe
yourselves with humility toward one another, because, "God opposes
the proud but gives grace to the humble."
-- 1 Peter 5:5

The word "submissive" is often positive or negative based on its
relationship to us personally. It's nice having someone serve us
submissively, but serving someone else submissively is hard work.
Unfortunately, we are selfish way too much of the time. But God is
at work in direct opposition to anyone who is full of pride and
unwilling to serve others, especially if those "others" are older
believers! Whether it's easy to wear the clothes our Father demands
or not, we are to intentionally clothe ourselves with humility!

THE REAL THING
I once was dead but now alive

My days are full of spring
Through all life’s storms I will survive
For I have The Real Thing

I’ve love I’ve grace I’ve Heaven’s Light
Life’s Fire burning inside
Power to stand, win every fight
Before the last divide

I know the facts of Jesus Christ
The Truth The Life The Way
I know God’s Lamb was sacrificed
For me to rise one day

Now I am rich where once so poor
Once sick but now so well
Even from death I’ve found The Cure
Though angels burn in hell

I needn’t run I needn’t hide
No penny need I pay
Through Jesus blood I’m qualified
Right here right now today

My King’s arranged a place for me
The Lord of all the earth
To Heaven too I have The Key
Since Jesus’ second birth

I’ve ring I’ve robe a mansion too
A crown of purest gold
God’s love to drink as morning dew
With all the saints of old

All this and more has God prepared
For all who Christ receive
Accept The Truth God here has shared
And by His grace believe

As followers of Jesus, we are asked to exercise our grain of faith in many ways. We are to forgive those who wound us, not depending on our sense of bitterness and our need for revenge.
That is a difficult message for us to hear these days. We are to stand up for what is right, not trusting in the support of those who may oppose us. We are to care for those in need, even the ungrateful, not relying on their gratitude and affirmation.
We are to seek to do God's will, not being guided simply by our own comfort and convenience.
We are to be generous to God and to others with all that we have been given, not trusting in our possessions for our sense of worth and security

You can think. You can make good decisions. You can make choices that
are right for you. Yes, we all make mistakes from time to time.
But we are not mistakes. We can make a new decision that takes new information into
account. We can change our mind from time to time. That's our right too.
We don't have to be intellectuals to make good choices. In recovery, we have a gift and a goal available to each of us.
The gift is called wisdom.

Christianity is a battle, not a dream.
This is so true. Before I became a Christian, I honestly thought people were Christian because they suddenly had all their responsibility removed, and they were living on Easy Street, but it's just not true. And that's where it's an affront to God to win people to Christ by pretending it's easy and a cure-all.

Thank you, Barb

Even when we feel sad, or hopeless, we aren't mistakes. Your wonderful post wasn't about that, but that phrase really jumped out. He knitted us together with kisses, and we aren't mistakes.

Is wonderful to be reminded of that.

Thank you both so much.

So blessed to share another thread with you

God bless you loads and loads. xxx

How prone we are to getting all worked up over things that amount to nothing! And how grateful I am that our faith is based on the firm foundation of the Word of God. I would much prefer that the Lord speak to me from the tried and true pages of Scripture than to receive some kind of supernatural, special revelation.
If even an angel came to me claiming to have some revolutionary truth, I would find myself questioning whether his message was of God.

Endless second-guessing is not a problem when we turn to the Word. The Bible is the only firm foundation for our faith and Christian walk.
When our lives are founded on the truth of God's Word, we won't be carried away by the latest doctrinal fad or "new and improved" version of the gospel. How crucial it is that we stand fast on the truth of God's Word!
This is the only way to maintain the glorious liberty provided to us so abundantly in Christ.
