In general, I trust the evaluation of scientific experts on objects like this, as paleobiology is not my field of expertise. Millions rather than thousands of years old is a good ballpark guess for a dinosaur egg.

I can't, however, evaluate the particular object that you purchased. Are dinosaur eggs really for sale like that? I'd have thought they were rare enough that they'd be stored carefully in museums and research centers. For all I know, the object that you bought was made last week by somebody who's a dinosaur fan.

No life on Earth (that came from Earth) is older than 6000 years according to the Bible.

Your egg does not have a timestamp, birth certificate, observed start date of something more than 6000 years ago but there is a chain of guesswork surrounding it that apparently suggests something more than 6000 years.

What certification did you receive with the sample?
In the case of meteorites things are more straightforward.
I purchased this sample of the Bassikounou meteorite.

To be more certain of its authenticity I sent the image including a microscopic image to Washington University which also have samples of the meteorite.

The clincher was the chondrule or spherical object in the microscopic image which is a characteristic of meteorites and is dated at round 4.5 billion years old using Pb-Pb dating on similar meteorite samples and is older than the Earth.

Dinosaur eggs do exist but acquiring them like any other object of scientific value such as meteorites is a risky business when purchased from the internet as you might not be getting what you are purchasing.
I'm no expert on dinosaur eggs but including a certificate of authenticity with the image makes it more convincing.

There are such samples. Whether or not yours is genuine, I am not qualified to say.
If it is in fact a fossilized egg, then it is surely older than a few thousand years.

I do not know how old it is. It is an area of study I do not know much about. What I do know is that people are sometimes mistaken, or fabricate things, or even lie about things and there is no guarantee that this isn't done even with widely held public knowledge.

Dinosaur eggs do exist

If eggs do exist, then it is a bit crazy to think the egg hatched, grew into a huge dinosaur and died all in one day, but God makes it look like it covered a time of 200 million years. Why would God trick or deceive people like that? It is just not consistent with acceptable Bible Interpretation. A total lack of understanding of the Physics of time and the natural laws God creates to govern the universe. God cannot violate His own laws. Jesus came to forfill the law and to be a perfect example for us to follow.

The general advice is don't buy dinosaur eggs like meteorites on sites such as eBay.

China is very good at making fake stuff. I bought a lot of coins for a dollar that are selling for three dollars now. So my investment has increased quite a bit. In some cases they are actually worth 20 or 30 dollars.
