I have a 19 year old son who is disrespectful to me. I don't know what is wrong with him but he talks down to me. He doesn't want me to call him and check up on him, he completely disrespects me and emotionally hurts me. I don't understand how he could act like that. I have cut down on calling him and he still complains about it. He says that I'm crazy, and I'm not. I just worry about him. I can't help but to worry about him, he's my only child and he fails to realize that I can worry about him. He doesn't want to do anything around the house and he refuses to help me out. I've been told that it's just a phase that he's going through, but I feel that it is more than just a phase. How do I deal with this? Any suggestions.
