Hello all! I'm new as of today. First post. First Christian forum I've join actually in a long time.
Anyway, I've been dating this wonderful woman for almost 2 years. Recently I have come to the understanding that our views of the nature of God may not be the same. I believe in the Triune God as 3 distinct persons but ONE God. She also believes in one God and that Jesus is God. Her view of the Trinity is that God manifests Himself in 3 ways. Her bishop (pastor) teaches there is no such thing as the Trinity. That it is a later construct foreign to the original biblical writers. I'm in a quandary now. She has faith in Christ as her savior. We are equally yoked in that regard. If her understanding of the Trinity is different than mine, should I consider that a major red flag?
Thanks all for your time and wisdom.
