Deutsche Bank won´t create new jobs in North Carolina because discrimination laws there

Germanies biggest bank "Deutsche Bank" announced today that it stopped its plans to create 250 new jobs in North Carolina because the discrimination laws there.

The state government must have know this would happen...maybe they just did not care. I feel sorry for the communities and individuals that will be economically hurt by all of this nonsense.

It was a waste of time creating such a law...it will cost jobs...it will cost revenue...which will hurt the citizens of that State. Reminds me of the 1950's.

Well, I don't think 250 jobs is going to make or break a state...nor do I think they'd even care.

Now, if McDonald's, Target, Walmart, etc... threatened to pull out of the state (potentially costing NC tens of millions of revenue, and tens of thousands of jobs) then they'll start sweating it and thinking about changing their ways.

Now, if Germany really wanted to make a statement, they'd pull their BMW & Daimler plants out of the region...

I was thinking long term. Conventions, businesses, entertainment, etc. The unpublished decisions over a decade. Very costly...and so unnecessary.
