We need it for a fire.
I heard that today and thought just thought I would share it.
I heard that today and thought just thought I would share it.
We need it for a fire.
I heard that today and thought just thought I would share it.
I heard it at a Christian job networking meeting today.
Now I understand! It's like those multi-level marketing scheme meetings!
Yes, but what does it mean?
We need it for a fire.
I heard that today and thought just thought I would share it.
It means that someone is being a martyr for selfish reasons, such as trying to make themselves out to be the victim or putting on a "long" face to appear to be making great sacrifices.

(Sorry BillynJennifer, missed your post before.)
It's so easy for someone to look at a brother or sister in the next pew and accuse them of self-pity isn't it?
Much easier than actually helping them consistently until they feel so well-loved they no longer need to feel mournful over themselves.
I never thought of it as criticizing someone else.
I was thinking more along the lines of self pity. I never thought this would offend anyone.
