church choirs

does your church have a choir?
I just wondered if baptist churches still have them...I haven't been to a lot of the more tradtional ones. Ours has a 'worship team' but didn't baptists have choirs and members wore robes? I know anglican churches still have them.
What happened to the choirs?

I don't know why its called a worship team, or praise band. I mean I don't think of singing as primarily a performance or entertainment in church.

We have both the adult choir and children/youth choir. No "praise band" as you'd call it...which does seem to have a more entertainment-focused production (to say the least).
