Warning! Christmas is a pagan ceremony!!

Romans 12:15 "Rejoice with them that do rejoice........." Me personally I Rejoice at the birth of Jesus christ everyday, but if a great majority of Christians are gathering together to designate a world wide celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ; then it does'nt matter to me if it's origin was in some way deviated, or perverted just as long as I can be a part of transforming the perversion into true worship of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. Yes, I am aware of the great commercialism that has permiated the Holiday, and Yes, I am aware of the true focus perverter "Santa = Satan", but as long as Satan is fighting to turn the focus away from Jesus; I'm fighting against him in turning the focus to Jesus. So don't panic, our origin was'nt pure either, but Jesus came into the world to change that. We were once pagan, but Jesus came to change that. Jesus sat with the publicans, and sinners because the sick need a physician, If the physician would'nt get involved because the patient was contaminated, how would the patient be cured? I know that at least one person gives their life to Jesus Christ every Christmas Holiday, and If only one person gives their life to Christ during the Holiday; It was well worth the whole earth celebrating.AV1611 said:Warning! It does not change the fact that Christmas is the celebration of a Christianized paganism.Col said:Oh pleeeease, give it a rest! There is always "one", every Christmas without fail.

This is such an obvious and easily discoverable fact that I cannot believe christians are still arguing with it.AV1611 said:It does not change the fact that Christmas is the celebration of a Christianized paganism.
Am I honoring some pagan god or goddess by putting up a Christmas tree? No. Are my Christmas presents an act of worship to some demon? No, they're not. Am I celebrating the winter solstice or the Lord's birth when I sing "Silent Night" at a Christmas Eve service?StevenL said:This is such an obvious and easily discoverable fact that I cannot believe christians are still arguing with it.

Neither does your 'warning' change scripture; the apostle instructs,AV1611 said:It does not change the fact that Christmas is the celebration of a Christianized paganism.
Christmas is not pagan. What do find so wrong with celebrating it, the point of Christmas is to celebrate Jesus's birth and to be kind to one another. People are happy and enjoy giving to people during this time what is so wrong with that.AV1611 said:Warning! Christmas is a pagan ceremony!!

You are celebrating Christ's Mass, putting up trees, etc., NOT because YOU chose to do so at the time of the winter solstice, but because, long ago, the "church" incorporated the days and symbols of the Babylonian mysteries into the worship of Jehovah..in complete opposition to the Word of God. The apostate "church" passed this on to us and we just do it ...well just because the "church" said so and our granny and grandpappy did it and because it "feels good" and because we get to eat lots of good food and have fun with the family. Sorry, nobody today just thought this stuff up and decided on their own to start celebrating "Jesus' birthday' at this time and in this way. You do it because you have been trained to do it. You DID NOT get if from the teachings of the Scriptures. You can, of course, choose to believe you did.twistedsketch said:Am I honoring some pagan god or goddess by putting up a Christmas tree? I've worked with pagans, and they hate Christmas. They celebrate the solstice, and make no bones about it. They hate it because we took their day like an army takes a city in war.
