Christian Dating Q&A&Discussion Forum

Hi all,

I am a new user to the forums. Pleased to meet all of you. ^^

I made a few threads recently on the topic of "Christian Dating" in the "Singles Only" forum. I did some research and I found a lot of Christians with a fairly negative view on the Christian dating scene.

My goal was to help Christians find another Christian to date and marry.

Another user told me that it can only be viewed by people who are young and single. That got me thinking. I think this topic should be read by anyone interested in the topic of Christian Dating. That includes but are not limited to:

1) Christian singles who are struggling with finding a Christian date
2) Christians who are dating non-Christians
3) Anyone that knows someone else with the above struggles.

At first I believe the best way is to move my threads elsewhere, perhaps to "Courting Couples" under "Life Stages".

However I am thinking maybe its better to create a new forum call "Christian Dating Questions and Answers and Discussions" under "Life Stages". So we can combine the discussions and opinions of anyone interested into one forum. This topic is very wide and should cover any age group and backgrounds.

It is my believe that we Christians, at the deepest part of our hearts, do desire to date and marry another Christian that we can share our "Life Story with Christ" with. And it is vital that we share our opinions and experiences with each other.

Let me know what you think. I am open to suggestions. Here are the 4 threads I made so far on this topic. The original thread has my whole message, a very very long read. The other 3 are the first 3 sessions/partitions of my original post. (Another user correctly asked me to discuss each session part by part, to allow for easier discussion. )

I'm going to ask you to use our already existing forums. Without looking at the threads in detail I would say the best forum would be Singles Only. Courting Couples is for those who are in relationships.

Hi Redhead,

One of the replies I got is from a father who believe this topic should be discussed in a forum area where older/married people can contribute.

I'd like to see this discussed in a forum area in which older/married people could contribute. Having a single daughter in her 20s, we've had discussions about that. And I've seen how Christians in other parts of the world handle it.

Is there such a spot? Like I said perhaps the "Courting Couples" page is the best, if no new forum is created.

Older people who are single can post in singles. Now, a single person can pose a question in "questions from singles about marriage" but only married people can reply.
