I was hoping that once enough people realized the unprecedented numbers of rapes of women and child sex trafficking that enough Americans would stand up to the Biden administration border policies. When that didn't happen I, and many others, have tried to emphasize that the crime problem will spread throughout the country. The cartels have made big money from trafficking, the Biden administration facilitated by not DNA checking all kids to make sure they were with a relative and sending the children to a location of their choice. With very open borders, when MS-13 loses a member due to the U.S. government arresting and prosecuting and jailing that member, an expensive task, now ten more recruits can be sent to take his place. With big money comes bribery, that's what happened in Mexico, the cartels expanded into almost every walk of life. You can bet the money will flow to U.S. politicians and judges and our young people who want to make a fast buck.

Well if it's Breibart, it's gotta be true.

I stepped in some breibart once...
Unsurprisingly, Breitbart lied about its own sources. The headline "Chicago Organized Retail Burglary Ring Allegedly Led by Newly Arrived Illegal Aliens" is not only unsupported by the sources in the link, but it is directly contradicted by them. The first link in the article is to a story on newsbreak.com, which cites as its first source this story from WGN:

Note that the police do not claim that migrants are leading the ring; rather, they say that they believe that the ringleaders are approaching and hiring the migrants. The video is dated Dec 13 and the officer being interviewed says that the uptick in migrant arrests started roughly 6 weeks prior to that, so about late October / early November. As the Breitbart article notes, organized retail theft has been a problem for a few years - how are illegals supposedly the ringleaders when they've only been involved for a couple months? It must be that Obama Time Machine

With all of the money it should be no surprise that the cartels will broaden their criminal enterprises. We are at the beginning. Look at what the mafia did without the government helping them on transportation and recruiting! What Joe has done in a few years will take a lot more years to undue, time is of the essence:

"Mexican cartels have become well known for smuggling people outside the United States over the border, as well as for trafficking all types of illicit narcotics, including fentanyl, into the country. But these and other criminal groups around the world, such as in Romania and Chile, have expanded their operations to include other money making initiatives, including crimes in the retail environment."

Is stealing a broadening of their horizons?

Ya know, it is possible to talk about the problem of organized crime without dishonestly pointing the finger at poor migrants. But I suppose not needlessly stoking xenophobia would be too much to request of Breitbart.

It's strange how a poster doesn't address it when the first and second posters reply to a story and show that the narrative is fabricated... and then keep defending your initial (now disproven) story.

ALL of this should also be noted that: Despite the media basing of "organized retail burglary", there was no noticeable increase of ACTUAL reported thievery incidents

If dishonest tactics sway enough low information voters, what's the incentive to tell the truth?

Yeah, this poster is notorious for constantly doing that.

Unfortunately low information voters have the correction information at their fingertips, but refuse to find it because it will bring out the lies in their beliefs.

We don't have any such capabilities.

I'd post a link but ICE just arrested about 170+ serious criminals amongst the illegal population.

It would be nice if Dems had something to run on other than gaslight.

The economy is actually doing better! Everything got more expensive but that doesn't matter in the long run!

Theft? Crime? Totally not happening. It's down from an hour ago.

Illegals? What illegals? Those are asylum seekers that beat up that cop and now live in your kid's school.

And how many serious criminals do you think there are in the illegal population? How many enter each day?

Oh I have no idea.

It's going to vary by culture.

Generally, the left accepts the premise that poverty creates criminals....and the population in question is almost uniformly in poverty, I suppose we'd reasonably assume they're over-represented in crime. The odd thing is....the left thinks they're underrepresented in crime.

Perhaps it has something to do with another contradiction....the idea that the recently college educated are struggling to get by...and these largely uneducated and unskilled illegals have no problem becoming contributing members of our society without speaking the language almost instantly.

The modern left requires one hold two completely contradictory ideas in one's mind simultaneously....very Orwellian.

I only checked the thread to see how many posts it took to dismantle the op. Two is about par for the course.
I can’t even be bothered to do my ‘going out on a limb’ bit anymore.

These false threads of boiler plate right wing talking points that are uniformly inaccurate need to stop.

It’s against to rule here to say ‘fake news’. It should be against the rules to post fake news.
