Celebration Reformation Day?

Hey!
i find very funny that many christians celebrate halloween but have no idea that same day is reformation day. i know im not from a lutheran church but i find the date soooo important ,so i take that day for myself and watch the Martin luther movie and some documentaries . this year, some friends will join ''the party'', i guess its going to be fun.

So, Any of you celebrate the reformation day? and if you do, tell us how you do it!

We do, with a Festival High Mass; then we go home and drink beer!

In these parts of the world, we don't "celebrate" Halloween, which is a purely commercial mass feast intended to make the cash registers sing ka-ching ka-ching; instead, we observe the All Saints' Day by visiting gravesides and lighting candles. It's a solemn day of commemoration.

This is like a highly artistic handicraft movement in its own right that we over here (i.e. outside the trad. halloween countries) know nothing about!

I'm ill so I spent Reformation morning in an urgent care center and then off to Target for medicine.
Since then I've been home sleeping and watching tv.

We Lutherans do know about and celebrate Reformation Day. Luther's nailing the 95 thesis is part of our history. Outside of Lutheranism, you may not find so many who celebrate the Reformation.
