MANILA, Philippines - A cellular phone subscriber identity module (SIM) card led to the arrest of an Adventist pastor in Cebu City for the abduction and killing of his wife, a radio report said early Friday.
Radio dzBB's Cebu affiliate reported that police arrested Leonardo Jastiva, pastor and president of International Missionary of the Seventh Day Adventists, for wife Judith's death.
Police said Jastiva faces parricide charges after they found in his possession the cell phone used by Judith's abductors supposedly to contact him.
