my daughter asked for brussle sprouts for dinner....

Not really. I know lots of people who like brussle sprouts. In fact I loved them as a child.

When I was a kid I would ask for brussel sprouts a lot, and always take seconds or thirds. In fact, I've been known to eat a whole package frozen ones my self. As an adult I still love then (I love the texture especially) but now I prefer fresh to frozen.

It is a big joke with us that normaly families have family dinners and say sit down and eat your beggies. She said I don't ever have to do that since there is almost nothing she won't eat.


I do silly things from time to time though like cooking artichokes whole.

At the farmers market the stand we get our veggies from know Bear as the little girl who loves Brussel Sprouts. It's kind of funny. No one else in our house likes them so if she is a helper at the market she gets to purchase a singel serving from the veggie stand.

I've only had them a couple times and I just didn't get the "I loathe brussels sprouts" attitude you hear so much. As I recall, the ones I had were served in some kind of pasta-vinagrette salad. They were good

The last time we took my son to the doctor, the doctor made a joke that the medicine would taste like green peas. It didn't go over to well since my boy loves those peas (unlike me).

I love sprouts too. What I did find odd was the child who cut his teeth on olives (very strange) & the 2 yr old of mine who would wolf down a dozen or more fresh oysters at a sitting; won't touch them now but boy did she love them as a bub!
